Parties of two and upwards are welcome at the private tables, but they can also cater to parties of 8 to 10 guests. However, this is more limited, so be sure to book in plenty of time if you have a larger party. The Roodee Plays Host

You could not ask for a better backdrop for the excitement and thrill of the races and the high-octane drama that accompanies them than the Roodee. There are two ways you can book, many of the races are open to individual bookings, but private parties can also be hosted, meaning you have the entire venue to yourself. There is also a range of special event days, including Ladies Night, Roman Day, Chester Cup Day, Ladies and Gents Evening, and of course, the Season Finale.

A Diner’s Delight

During your time at Parade Chester, you will be treated to award-winning culinary delights from the horseradish catering team. During the day, there are six excellent courses on offer, and it changes throughout the year. However, all of the food is created by some of the best culinary minds and include things like Tandoori Roasted Lobster, Sesame Seared Tuna, Herb Crusted Herwick Lamb Loin, and for dessert, Parade Assiette. Between courses, you can enjoy cocktails and other calling drinks from the summer rooftop garden and bar or stroll over to the viewing terrace to enjoy the action, where the concierge will make sure that you can place your bets without having to miss a moment of the action.

The Typical Guest Experience

On arrival at around 11:30 am, guests are invited to make use of the complimentary parade parking and head towards the concierge desk. You will be personally escorted to the venue, where signature canapés and a Laurent-Champagne Reception will be provided. At around 12:15 pm, your executive chef and his team will begin your culinary feast. Dining will take around an hour and a quarter, and then you are free to explore the grounds of this high-end venue. There is a viewing area which is outside but covered and an open roof terrace, and you can choose to watch the races from either location as both are perfectly placed.

Place Your Bets

At around 1:45, the concierge team will be on hand once more to ensure that everyone is able to place your bets and wagers are submitted quickly and efficiently before any of the racing action begins. The racing action starts on the turf at around 5 pm, at which point you will be able to indulge in a signature cocktail, and if you are feeling peckish, some more gorgeous Early Evening Bites will be delivered.

Added Extras

Guests can also enjoy complimentary services, which again rotate and vary throughout the year but may include a sommelier, make-up artist, tipster and DJ. The extensive cocktail menu and wine collection are extra, and this is a cash bar that you are welcome to patronise throughout the day.
